Washington, DC (a month late)

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!  Today we broke camp and headed to Washington, DC.  It wouldn't have taken us as long if the traffic hadn't been so bad - my goodness there are a lot of people on the roads here!  We are staying in a camp ground just North of the city called Cherry Hill Park.  Dad decided we are going to stay here for a week and get our mail and everything, besides, there is a lot to see here.  Mom and Dad went to a seminar after we got here to learn how to get around the city and were to go.  I already know where I will be - doggie day care - but I don't know which one yet.  Dad has a sore ankle, so we are going to rest tomorrow and Mom and Dad are going to figure out their plan of  attack!  Mom said we are about a month behind, because we were going to try and be here the first part of April for the Cherry Blossom Festival - but it was snowing - so we really didn't want to be in the snow.  As it is, it is really cool here.

That's about all I have to report today - no pictures yet unless you want pictures of me sleeping!!!

Oh, and we get to add another state to our map - Maryland!
