A new province today - P.E.I.

Friday, June 17, 2011

NOTE:  There are three postings all posted at once, so be sure to SCROLL DOWN FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS.

Today we left the Fundy area and drove to Harrington, P.E.I. (that's Canadian for Prince Edward Island).  We had to drive over this really long bridge - over 12 K and it took about 10 minutes to drive it!  It was cold, cloudy and breezy when we were on the bridge, but when we got to our camp site, it was really neat!  It's all grassy and guess what!  Mosquitoes and black flies!  Dad lit some mosquito coils, and that sure makes them go away!  We are going to be here for three days because Mom has to do laundry AGAIN!  I'm sure glad I don't have to wear clothes!  We will be exploring the island for a few days before we move on to Nova Scotia.

The Confederation Bridge...

...over 12 Kilometers long.
