ANOTHER one of Dad's "little rides"

Saturday, May 4, 2011

Well, today was another one of those days.  Dad took Mom and me for a ride that lasted 7 hours - not TOO bad I guess.  We went into the middle of New Hampshire to the White Mountains - WOW - was it ever pretty!  Of course EVERYTHING is GREEN and there is a lot of water around too!  Mom got to take lots of pictures of the country side and in the middle of the afternoon, Dad bought Mom and me ice cream - so that made everything worth it!  Here are some of the pictures Mom took:

Gazebo reflection.

LONGG roads, GREEEN trees

We saw these signs all day long but not a moose in sight

Time for ICE CREAM!

Mount Washington Hotel

Mount Washington at 6,288 ft - highest mountain
in New Hampshire

There are a lot of ski hills in the White Mountains.
This one empties into a Lake!

As you can see, we saw a lot of different things.  When we got home, Dad took Mom to dinner - it must have been REALLY GOOD, because they didn't bring me ANYTHING!

Tomorrow we are moving on towards Bangor, ME - I will let you know were we land....
