We had a full day of sight seeing - what a great place. We back tracked a little bit from where we are camped and drove along the coast. It is called the Fundy Coast Drive. Mom is really fascinated with the large tide thing. We were able to get pictures of boats sitting in the mud because the tide was out. And, we also saw an eagle and a fox - Mom didn't get a picture of the fox because he was so quick! (Quick like a fox - get it?) Anyway, as we got back into town, we went back to the reversing falls, so we can show you those pictures too...and, we weren't there at the true high and low tides!

Tide going out - water moving right to left! |
Tide coming in... |
...tide going out! |
Tide is out here - no fishing for a while! |
Almost touching the bottom! |
Mom said Dad could probably get a deal on this boat! |
One of two covered bridges we saw today - built in 1917 |
Tide is out here so the salmon will wait until it comes back in to "climb" the ladders on the left |
We don't know what these are called, but they are EVERYWHERE and they are beautiful! |

Mom took a TON of pictures today and we are going "up river" tomorrow and going onto ferries, so who knows what we will be seeing! Really a great place for photos! (Mom is really having too much fun!)
Oh, and Dad finally had to buy gas today - it was $44.25 Canadian - $45.52 US; $1.238 per Liter Canadian - $4.827 per Gallon US. Mom has a whole new spreadsheet in the computer to convert everything! Our US dollar was only worth $.97 today. Dad bought milk today too - $3.40 US Dollars for TWO LITERS! (I think we need to find a cow!)
